Jason and I are talking about having our own home theater. We both love to watch movies on weekend and been thinking to buy the 54 inches flat screen TV. I told him to just build a home theater instead of buying a big TV since we already have the optoma projector that was given from my in-laws last year. Plus we have an extra huge bedroom that never been use before. The only thing we need to buy is to remodel the floor like a stair case for a perfect view and buy theater couches. That is our big project now and according from my husband, he’ll try his best to start building the home theater after our vacation. I am looking forward with this project; I do not care how long it takes to build the home theater as long as it can get it done.

My Son And I

This picture was taken 2 days with my 3 year old son. I cannot beleived that he is more than half of my height. He got his daddy's genes. My husband and I are talking about him going to a private school in 1 year. He is only 3 years old but so ready to go to school, everytime he sees a school bus, he will looked at me and asked " mommy,can I ride in that school bus too? ". I am not ready to be away with son that long yet but when the right time comes for him to go to school, I'll try my best not to freak out hehehehe.

A month from now, we will be having a big party here in our place. A party for my husband for being promoted to his work and a celebration for me, passing the Naturalization test. We are doing a major cleaning in our house as well as in our yard but we are planning to rent a carpet cleaner Austin to help us clean the entire carpet in our house. We already shampooed the carpet but the smell of the dog peed seems hard to get it off. We are actually planning to change out carpet but because we are still working on our project which is the rebuilding of our shop, we decided to just wait for few more years before getting a new carpet.
Last year, the Austin cleaner staffs are also the one who help cleaning my in-laws carpet from water damage that is why I am confident enough that they can help us as well. There are still a lot of things that needs to be done before the big party and hopefully we can get it done before the big day. It is going to be a busy month for us! My friends and I are planning to go for a weekend road trip to Seattle, which is 5 to 6 hours away from where we lived. My friend Jenalyn is currently looking for a van where 6 to 8 people can ride. There are at least eight people are coming with us and none of us has a vehicle where eight people can fit. Therefore, instead of going there with two or three cars, we are going to rent a van and ride in one vehicle and then divide the rent as well as the hotel room. However, none of us has been in that place yet and that is why we need to buy gps first, so we know where we are going and in case we got lost. Going there together in one vehicle is an advantage for us because then we can save a lot of money. Jason offered us to use his gps nuvi but lets see what will happen because he is also planning to go somewhere on the same day we are going.

After few months of diet I noticed losing few pounds but recently, I have been eating foods that are way beyond in my diet plan. It is kind of hard to resist the food when someone is inviting me for dinner. I know I should stick on my diet and be firm but as human as we are, we sometimes break the rules. He's "3' Finally!

He's "3' Finally!

My son, turned three last Tuesday but his party was last Saturday. We rented a carousel for the him and did not expect that all the people that I called will come to the party:-), which is a good thing because then everyone can enjoy the merry-go-round. It's actually a potluck too but I cooked 8 different dishes to make sure everyone will have enough food and just in case some others cannot bring some food. I want to thank you to all the people who joined our party and brought foods as well. I am also thankful to my husband who is a good provider!

It has been a months now since I am suffering acne problem in my left face. My skin is breaking out badly after my tympanoplasty surgery. I have no idea why but according to my husband, it’s a reaction from the medication that they used during the surgery or maybe my hormones is changing.
And recently, I am suffering hair loss problem too! I cannot understand why I have to suffer all these. Seems like 2011 is not a good year for me. My husband bought a hair loss treatment yesterday after his doctor appointment and I am crossing my finger that the shampoo will solve my hair loss problem. Sometimes, I asked myself why me? Of all the people in the world, why I have to suffer acne and hair loss at the same time?

I got so upset while shopping in town this morning. My cart was full of groceries hoping to get back home faster and yet the line is taking forever to get it done. The barcode scanner in the isle where I was lining up was broken and they have to do it manually. I am so disappointed because my schedule was already behind and there are so many things that need to be done before the birthday party for my son.
I wish all store had an extra barcode scanner just in case unexpected moment will happen like this morning. The flow of the line is very slow and everything is really a mess. I wish there is something I can do to make it faster but the entire isle was busy. Oh well, I am happy that I got what I need for the party and hopefully the store can fix their barcode scanner soon.

I sent my application to Chopped two nights ago to be on the show as one of the chef competitor but I am not really sure if I am the best choice since I am not really a chef and never been to a culinary school but who knows?? maybe they will! One of my passion is cooking, I must say, I am good at it. I learned how to cook from my ancestors. At a very young age, I can already cook few dish. In my family, it is important for us how to cook since both my parents are busy working and there is no one else who can take care of us while they gone except my older brother or sister.
Anyway, I am also nervous, what if, if they will pick me? am I able to cook something from the mystery box in 30 mins? hmmm lets see hehehehe

I live in Nashville so making my career as a songwriter wasn’t too much of a stretch. I’ve always had a knack for lyrics and there are plenty of opportunities here in terms of songs being recorded, plus I get to stay in the south where I’m from. People have always told me that I have a way with words which I guess is true since I seem to be doing well! I love being able to work with an artist or a label on creating a specific feeling in a song, and I have a lot of flexibility as well. In a sense, I’m definitely an entrepreneur.

I don’t have to keep much with me when I’m hitting the pavement trying to sell which is a good thing since my car’s not all that big. I have a mobile internet connection through one of the wireless internet companies which helps me stay connected even when I’m on the road. I can’t believe my good fortune that I get to make a living doing what I love

I am very excited for our trip this coming weekend. One of our friend has been asking us for three years now to visit their ranch to ride their horses and I am thrilled that we can finally go there this weekend. My riding boots is ready for a fun horse ride. I love riding horses, my family used to own a horse and at a very young age, I learned how to ride them. I am a little nervous though because it has been a very long time since I rode a horse and I am not sure if I still know how especially that the horse here is much bigger than what I used to ride. Jason promised that he is going to protect me and that is a relief because I know how hard to climb in huge horses. Anyway, I need to get going and get everything ready for this exciting trip!

My soon to be 3 year old son likes to help his mommy. Two days ago, he is very happy to take the garbage outside. He even asked me if there is more garbage that needs to be taken out. I hope when he gets old, he still likes to help his mommy. He even likes to wash dishes too but sometimes, I's rather not to get any help from him because all he did is giving me more job hehehehe. My husband and I are thinking of collecting more gold coins as our investment. He wanted to buy gold coins last year but ended up buying a new car. He had a feeling that time will come, gold coins will be more expensive and useful than our money now. I do not know why he thinks that way but whatever his plan is, I believed, it is for our own good. We have several collections of silver coins that were given from where he works at but he is looking forward to collect more gold coins than the silver one. I also like to collect different kind of gold coins, I thought they are very interested and neat especially the coins from other country. The image and drawings in the coins is what I like most.

I Am Happy For My Husband

My husband recently got hurt, he torn his bicep and he is now in recuperation and is going to physical therapy to re-strengthen his arms, this is a wonderful opportunity for him to get back on shape and build some muscles. He actually considering of taking some muscles supplement and currently looking for the best muscle building supplement. It has been a week since his exercise and he is very excited to start working his body out again. I am also very happy that he decides to go on therapy because I am so worried that he might get discourage and will not do physical exercise, not that I don’t like him when he gain weight, it’s just that I wanted him to start using his strength again and play with our son.

I am watching a documentary last night about teenagers who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. It was a very sad moment for me because my family is experiencing the same thing with my older brother. My parents worked hard to help him back on his feet and it took them long years before he finally get over with his addiction. It was hard for them because at that time, we do not have rehab centers in our place yet. Unlike today, you can go to any rehab centers and can get professional help anywhere, like malibu rehab treatment centers.
I cannot imagine myself being in the same situation. The documentary that I watched last night really helps me on how to become a better mother to my two-year-old boy. I know time will come; he’ll meet friends that can lead him to wrong direction but I am all prepared with all the possible precautions and with the help of God, I trusts that he’ll grow up right.

After my left ear surgery, I suffered horrible skin problems in my left chick. I do not know the reason behind these entire skin problem but I am determine to find out. I am scheduled to visit my dermatologist next week and I hope they can help solve my problem because it greatly affects my self-esteem. I am a little nervous and anxious for my citizenship interview tomorrow. I pray that everthing will fall into place and that I will be able to asnwrs all the questions and pass the exam. Finally, I got the cell booster today! The signal here in our place is very weak especially on winter. I have been waiting the phone company to put a satellite here in our subdivision but seems like I am waiting in vain. It’s a waste of money to pay monthly for my mobile phone and cannot get a reception here in our place. It is one of the reasons why it is kind of hard to live in a remote area.
Anyway, I am very happy that now I can use my phone anywhere in the house or even outside. I should have bought the cell booster sooner. I like watching videos using my phone and with the cell booster, the loading of the videos now is a lot faster.

Travel Emergency

Travel Emergency

Last Sunday evening my husband twisted his left arm saving our little boy from falling off the chair. I felt bad because when he asked me to check his arm, I did not pay too much attention and I thought, everything is fine but after few minutes, his arm started to swelled up and he cannot move. We are few hours away from the hospital and there is no way of taking him to the emergency room because he cannot drive with his arm hurting and I don’t know how to drive either. Luckily we’re able to contact the travel emergency and took my husband to the emergency room. It was in the middle of the night but the ER is busy, people went to the same place because of their flu, good thing my son is not with us, otherwise, there’s a possibility of getting him sick as well.
My husband is scheduled for MRI tomorrow and I am praying that nothing is too serious and he does not need to undergo surgery. Because of what had happen to my husband, I realized how fragile our body is, and that, it needs to be taken care of. Though my husband hurt his arm accidentally, I am also very proud of him at the same time, risking his arm for the sake of his son.

Goodness, I cannot beleive how hard zumba dance is! I have been dacing the zumba dance for days now and I am telling you, it was not easy at all. I can only dance two songs and I a done. It makes my body tired and makes me hungry too! I don't think I can dance longer but lets see, the treadmill arrive yesterday and I might just use that instead. How about you? Have you been dancing zumba too? how many pounds did you lose so far?

I told Jason to replace our guest bathroom sink and buy the Delta faucets. I wanted to have a presentable bathroom for our guest. Last week, he replaces our toilet and I am very happy with it because the one he got is a push button, it’s huge yet it saved us some water. I also want to change the paint but Jason said, I have to wait for my mother in-law so we can do it together and pick the color together. She is good when it comes to house decoration. My goal for this year is to redecorate the bathroom and then when my son is old enough to handle fragile things, I am going to put back all our decoration that has been hid in the shop. My husband took all our decoration just before my son was born and I am hoping to bring them back maybe this summer.

I am not familiar of what she is asking but I will ask my husband to do it for her since Jason is very familiar about income & expenses spreadsheet.
