Few months from now, my son will be going to school and I am very excited because I can finally finish my degree, I only need two semesters to finish my nursing and I cannot wait to go back to school again. New GPS For Hubby!

My schedule nowadays is pretty much occupied. I hardly have time taking care of myself. I have been very busy since the first week of November preparing parties and now I still have two parties that need to be taken care of. The Filipino party is only a week away and I need to get things ready, I was assigned to organize the games, lots of shopping to do and preparation.
However, my goal for this weekend is to buy a new gps for my hubby, it’s the only thing that I can think of as the best present for Jason. I have been reading gps reviews since this morning and found a website where I can save up to 70% from the original price. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for us because the whole family will be at school to help out the turkey bingo night. Every year the school had this turkey bingo night as a fundraising and my sister in-law and I are always helping and selling cookies to raise more money. This time, we decided to baked 5 different types of cookies and that is why we decided to buy the Wire display racks so we can display all the cookies nicely and hoping to sell them all like last year because we baked more cookies this time. I am excited because my husband and my son will be playing the bingo together; it is like a family thing for us. I hope more people will join us this year!

My son and I had a lot of fun playing in the snow yesterday. I found a good spot for sledding and we cannot stop ourselves going back in forth up in the hill. It was so fun that we decide to do it again today. It's still snowing outside and the snow is a lot thicker than yesterday. My son loves the snow and it's funny how he gets sad when it rains because he does not want the snow to go away.

I was looking for pool fences to put up in my mother in-laws swimming pool. Winter is coming and it needs some protection from any wild animals that might jump in. My in-laws are currently away for the whole winter and they expect Jason to take care of their place while they are gone. Just before my sister in-law moved in her new house, she hired carpet cleaning raleigh to clean the carpet. She did all the possibilities to clean it by herself but the tangy smell from previous owner still stick to the carpet. My son and my friend son are having fun trick or treating yesterday. We're supposed to meet our neighbor at 5 in the afternoon but I guess we're late co'z no one was there when we arrived. We decided to just do our thing. It was alot of fun knocking doors and get a free goodies. My son loves his ninja's outfit and didn't mind the coldness at all when we are out.

Christmas is soon to come and to tell you honestly, I am half way ready! I wrapped most of our present and put up the Christmas tree. I know I am too early but I am pretty sure I am not alone. I just want to get ready because I do not want to forget anything on that special occasion. We will be having a thanksgiving here at home with my family and friends and that is why preparing ahead of time is necessary because there are so many things that needed to be done before Christmas.
I still need to buy more gifts especially for my husband and I am thinking to buy him the latest truck gps but I am not sure which truck gps works great because I know how picky he is and I wanted to give the best one. I am already eyeing some and I am crossing my finger that he’ll like it. It’s kind of hard to decide which present to give for my husband because he is very picky!

My husband and I have been saying we would take a trip to Europe for longer than I care to admit. We are not so good with the planning part, as it turns out. Planning a transatlantic trip (to multiple countries, no less) is a daunting task. Every time we sit down to plan the trip, we start out strong. This time will be different, we say. We’ll follow through. We’ll decide on two, maybe three countries, we’ll decide which cities we most want to visit in those countries, and we’ll put together an itinerary. Our plan normally falls apart right about the “deciding on two, maybe three countries” part. We absolutely cannot agree on which countries to see. In fairness, this is partially my fault. I spend more time watching The Travel Channel on expert satellite than is probably healthy. Great Weekends or Passport to Europe with Samantha Brown? Love it. No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain? Yes, please. All that Travel Channel has evidently made it very tough to pick the places I want to visit most. I guess eventually I’ll just cave and let my husband pick the countries himself. In the meantime, I’ll be on the couch watching Samantha Brown eat and drink her way through Turkey. Or some equally awesome country.

I was very surprise when I talked to my cousin yesterday who lives in Connecticut when she told me how she saves money with their electricity bill. She only pays half of our monthly electricity bill. I wish I lived in the same place where she was at so I can avail the connecticut electricity and saves money. I considered her lucky because our electricity in our area is very high and to be able to save half of what you normally pay monthly is such a huge saving and a better life for everyone.

New Laptop For My Mama!

I got a new laptop for my mama the other day, I was lucky enough to find affordable laptops at thesoure.ca. It was my plan to buy her one since my visit there few months ago. I was going to give her my old laptop when I was there but my older sister needs it more than my mother, so this time, it is my mother turn to have one. She is very excited but asking a lot of questions how to use it. It might take a while before she can learn how to use the laptop but I know for sure that she will do just fine. My older sister already letting her using the laptop that I give to her and she said, mama is learning slowly.
Anyway, I am very excited to ship my box next week so my mother can have her laptop soon! It’s my birthday present for her.

Our Vacation

Our Vacation

It's been 3 days now since we stayed at Tenaya Lodge and so far, I am enjoying every seconds being at this place. I love the ambiance, the weather, the food and the people! I am so happy to have an opportunity like these, being able to travel somewhere with my family. There are lots of traveler who stays in this place, they have 297 rooms but fully occupied and I can understand why. Just the place alone is already a huge bonus. Anyway, we will be leaving on Saturday morning and fly back to our hometown so friends, see you in a week!

Jason is still working on rebuilding our shop in preparation for winter. He replace all the wall and put new wiring and I am really hoping that he can get it all done by the end of this month so I can start putting our stuff there. I already was eyeing some wire management online in case he needed more material for his wiring because he mentioned it to me last night that he might need more. I wish we can hire people to help him out with this rebuilding but we are in a tight budget right now. Anyway, there are only few minor things that need to be done in the shop and I think we can get it done before winter.

Calgary Apartments For Rent

Five years from now, the mining company where my husband is currently working will be over and if they cannot find a new area to mine here in our town, their office will be completely shut down and people who worked there do not have any choice but to find a job somewhere else. Right now, we are considering moving somewhere in Calgary since it is the only area closer to our place here and a place where my husband can continue working in the company. They open a new site in Calgary and my husband has a choice whether to work there or not. According to his manager, they would love to hire him in the new site and willing to pay for our moving expenses if we decide to move there. My husband already checking these Calgary apartments for rent and his thinking to maybe rent one of their apartment and then keep our place here, it is only 2 hours drive from where we lived so our plan is that, my husband will stay in the apartment and if my son and I decides to stay there, we can drive over and drive back every two weeks or so. This is going to be hard not seeing everyday but we don’t have any choice right now. This is just a plan because we do not know yet, maybe they’ll find a new mining site here and that is what I am hoping for, I am crossing my finger!

Goodbye summer!

It's officially fall here in our place! The leaves is falling off, tress changes colors and temperature is dropping! It rains outside right now that makes you want to lay in bed all day long! I love the sound of the raindrops, I don't know why but raindrops sound helps me fall asleep quicker. This is the first rain since summer and I am happy because the ground needs it. Pretty soon the ground will turn white and I am excited because my son is looking forward to build snow man again.

My in-law who was planning to move back here in two months is looking for trailer hitches but they wanted to visit us first before they moved back here and bring their trailer with some of their things. It's nice and warm outside and I wish I knew how to drive so I can take my son to the lake and do some fishing! Early this morning I went outside to throw the garbage and I can tell that winter will be here soon. The air is chilly that I have to go back inside and wear warm clothes.
