My Baby's Gender

At last we finally knew what we are having..wanna know what are baby’s gender too? Well it’s a baby BOY J On the way to my prenatal check- up I can’t understand my feelings. My heart just beating real fast and cant wait to see what were going to have. During the ultrasound, I feel so excited seeing our baby boy moving, trying to suck his thumb. It looks like he is waving at us..it’s so cute!! My in-laws were excited too, in fact they accompanied us in my prenatal check- up. My father in-law and my husband are very happy when they found out it’s a boy because someone can bring their family nameJ. My sister in-law as well as her friends and our friends here wanted us to have a girl so they can spoil it but it really doesn’t matter to me as long as our little one is healthy. Well anyway, I’m glad that most of the clothes that we had right now is suited for a baby boy. I am so thankful too that we had a boy co’z then there’s someone who can follow my husband’s hobby plus it will be my hubby’s helper in terms of men’s activities; like lifting things or something. I can’t wait to see my baby boy soon and my belly really showing up now. Sometimes my in-laws think I have twins because of my huge tummy! Thank you Lord for this little angel that you had given us…

Normal Images

I always love to create some new things in my web page, and recently I found a site which is very interesting and funny! The Bubblenator. This site is really fun to do with and easy. All you need to do is click the attached link above and the page will directly open. If you want to use the The Bubblenator just place up three bubbles onto your image, fill in your desired text for each, change the size and choose from spoken and thought bubbles. Once you're done doing it. they will provide you the html code and you can copy and paste it to any desired web page you wanted to put on. This is really cool to beautify your web page, you can turn your normal image into something a little more fun. And if you visit this site, you can find something else that you will surely enjoy!
I suggest you guys to try this one! I myself tried this and it is really funny and simple to do with. You will find your web page very interesting and I can guarantee you, people who will visit your web page will enjoyed it too.

At Sunset

I got this poem from my friend Lisa..and since I like the thoughts of this poem, I wanted to share this to you as well..

Do you know the hour when the sun goes down
Is the beautiful time of day, when your task is done
And the shadows fall
And your worries are laidaway?
Well, it's just as true that the close of life Can a beautiful sunset be
Every task well done, let the shadows fall
There's no fear of eternity...

Good Morning:-)

After hubby hugged and kissed me this morning, I couldn’t back to sleep anymore. I wanted to cook green beans or “Monggo” in our dialect. I haven’t cooked this for a while and I miss eating it! So even if it’s still early here, I get up from bed and start cooking it. It will take a little longer before the green beans get tender so it means, I have time to do my task onlineJ and I am happy that I was able to grabbed one task today from ppp which is not that bad. It’s a great blessing already having that task.

Plus our garage is messy too, when it's snowing my husband's car is full of snow from work and it's melting inside our garage..hayyy I need to clean all that but only if I like to co'z I'm lazy hehehehehe.

We just got home from my 3rd prenatal chec-up. We are so excited when we heard our baby's heartbeat. The beats is so fast and loud and my husband said, our baby could be a rock star co'z it sounds like playing drum inside my belly. It's very funny and very exciting. I can't wait to see my baby soon!According to my friend if the heartbeat is beatween 150 to 160 it's baby girl but I really don't know co'z there are some says it's a boy. Well lets just see on my next second ultrasound( Dec.27).

I am thankful that everything goes normal with my pregnancy. My baby is normal and no negative result in my laboratory test. Can anyone give some idea if 160 heartbeat is a girl or boy? I am so excited to now the gender of my baby but like what I said before, boy or girl is don't matter to me as long it's a little healthy baby.

Too chilly!

It's started to get very cold here. Last Friday me and my husband went to walmart for a big sale,we go there 30 minutes before they will open and I saw lots of people lining waiting the door to open. I'm just glad my husband decided to stay in the car to wait co'z if he does I can't stand outside and wait co'z it's too chilly for me. It's 10 degrees and icy. I really admire those people standing and waiting and some of them brought their babies! I can't believe it..I would never do that to my kid for some reason babies is very fragile and sensitive.

Well anyway,I hope you guys are having a great thanksgiving. We spent our time with my in-laws till morning. Lots of food and I love it all! My mother in-laws cooked lots of foods and a whole turkey since it's my first thanksgiving here. I enjoyed my time and looking forward for my next turkey next year:-)

Have A Wonderful day!

Today I talked to our old lady neighbor when I gave food to our cat outside. She always check our cat and talked to our cat. She's acting very strange because she talked by herself alone. According to my husband it has to be something of her age. She's old and living alone in her camper. One day, she tried to open the door and I'm just glad that we locked all the doors. It's not that she is trying to get inside and steal or something, she is just out of her mind sometimes. I feel a little bit scared when I open the door and saw her today but I handle it myself very well and talked to her nicely. She talked like normal person, she is harmless though so that makes me feel better but let me tell you, I can hear my heart, beating fast while talking to her...But anyway, we sometimes gave her food and fruits and she likes it. Sad to know that her own family didn't visit her that much..I will never do that to my parents..even to my in-laws. If they have to stay in our house when they are old, I will not hesitate to take care of them. I am happy that my husband has the same thought even if he is an American. I'm glad that my husband's family has a strong relationship.
That's all for now folks and have a good day!

Love Pancit??

I cooked traditional filipino foods today " Pancit". I am happy though co'z I was able to ate it. Usually when I cook something I just throw it away co'z I loose my appetite after smelling all the spicies that I used. It's a good thing for me and to my baby that I don't feel so sick today, at least....I find my pancit very tasty! but as usual my hubby don't eat at all, he is very picky in terms of foods. But of course I still love him as much as he loves me. Well I need to get going, I still have to do something before I sleep. Have a wonderful weekend!

Dare to Dream..

You may get a lot of negative
feedback from others
,and so much happens in life
to block the road you wish to travel
.But you must dream anywayand cherish your dreams
as they come from your soul
and are the blueprintof who you are.
What's more, they represent
the direction you should take on earth.
Let your heart set your goals

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered;Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuseyou of selfish, ulterior motives;Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win someunfaithful friends and some genuine enemies;Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincerepeople may deceive you;Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creatingothers could destroy overnight;Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous;Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten.Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it may never be enough;Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis,it is between you and God;It was never between you and them anyway.

Blessings from above:-)

Last Sunday my in-laws bought a lot of baby clothes for my baby. Sounds funny co’z I’m still 9 weeks pregnant and I have all this kind of clothes already. They are very excited just like me. I am so lucky to have an in-laws like them, they treat like a baby too! My mother in-law used to fix my hair and gave a lot of stuff for my hair like headband, hair clip and etc. They are the one who called the doctor for my ob-visit. I am so thankful that God given such a wonderful blessings. I have a very loving husband and in-laws. I couldn’t ask anymore.

I'm 8 weeks & 4 days pregnant!

Yesterday is my first visit to the doctor and I am amazed knowing that I am 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant co'z I can't see any difference in my stomach..The size is still the same. I asked the doctor if it is normal for me to have that size and she said yes since I am very tinny and she also informed me to expect my tummy to pop out around 16 weeks . I am so excited and can't wait to see my tummy popping out! And the good news is, I have less than 4 weeks to have this nausiness, dizziness ug uban pa nga mga ness hehehehehehe. Ohhh boy, everybody want me to have a baby girl, from my in-laws to my sister in-law, my husbands friends and my friends and my family! but anyway they also said that if it is a boy then it doesn't matter too and that's a good thing because I really don't care if it is a boy or girl as long as the baby is healthy and normal! that's all I care..

Tangerine peel could help fight cancer

I read this article today in Yahoo News Headline and I just want to share it with you guys so you will know how important the Tangerine peel..

Wed Sep 12, 8:57 AM ET

LONDON (Reuters) - Tangerine peel could help in the fight against certain cancers, researchers said on Wednesday.

Human cancer cells, which contain an enzyme called P450 CYP1B1, were destroyed by a compound contained in tangerine peel, Salvestrol Q40, scientists at Leicester School of Pharmacy found.
The findings may offer a new approach to uncovering a treatment for cancers such as breast, lung, prostate and ovarian cancer, the scientists said.
Medicinal chemist Dr. Hoon L. Tan said: "It is very exciting to find a compound in food that can target cancers specifically.
"Salvestrols may offer a new mechanism of dietary anti-cancer action.
"Indeed, the depletion of salvestrols in the modern diet is due to the fact that many people no longer eat the skin of fruits and this may be a major contributory factor to the increasing incidence of some cancers in the human population."
The breakthrough was being presented at the British Pharmaceutical Conference held in Manchester.
But he warned that the research was still in its early days and many tests will be needed before reaching the clinical trial stage, which could take between five and seven years.
The researchers have formed a private company, Nature's Defence Investments, to protect and promote their research, with the potential of designing a natural anti-cancer alternative based on the new technology.

And the bad thing eating oat meal, I don't like it and it takes me an hour to finish 5 spoon...it seems like i'm on diet when in fact im not co'z I am too skinny for diet thing! I lost 4 pounds already! I hope and pray that my baby is still healthy and growing normally. Beware Of Diet Softdrinks!

Diet Softdrink is doing it...
Please read this! It may help you or someone you know. In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms and she was having a hard time getting around. Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain.
By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick...she just knew she was dying.
She put her house, bank accounts, life insurance, etc., in her oldest daughters name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of.. She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to FL (basically in a wheelchair) for March 22nd. On March 19th I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and she said they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS. (Multiple Sclerosis) I recalled an article a friend of mine E-mailed to me and I asked my sister if she drank diet soda? She told me that she did. As a matter of fact, she was getting ready to crack one open that moment... I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda !!! I E-mailed her the article my friend, a lawyer, had sent.
My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation and told me she had stopped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk!!!! The muscle spasms went away. She said she didn't feel 100% but she sure felt a lot better. She told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me when she got home. Well, she called me, and said her doctor was amazed! He is going to call all of his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any kind... In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame in the diet soda... and literally dying a slow and miserable death. When she got to FL March 22nd, all she had to take was one pill, and that was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning! She is well on her way to a complete recovery . and she is walking!!! No wheelchair!!! This article saved her life. If it says "SUGAR FREE" on the label, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!! I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on "ASPARTAME," marketed as 'NutraSweet,' 'Equal,' and 'Spoonful.' In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United States in 2001 there is an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. It was difficult to determine exactly what toxin was causing this to be rampant. I stood up and said that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject.
I will explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in ASPARTAME converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants.
The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. Many people were being diagnosed in error. Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence..., methanol toxicity is! Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers. The victim usually does not know that the Aspartame is the culprit. He or she continues its use; irritating the lupus to such a degree that it may become a life-threatening condition.. We have seen patients with systemic lupus become asymptotic, once taken off diet sodas.
In cases of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, (when in reality, the disease is methanol toxicity), most of the symptoms disappear. We've seen many cases where vision loss returned and hearing loss improved markedly. This also applies to cases of tinnitus and fibromyalgia. During a lecture, I said, "If you are using ASPARTAME (NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc.) and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting, pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss..., you probably have ASPARTAME poisoning!" People were jumping up during the lecture saying, "I have some of these symptoms." Is it reversible?" Yes! Yes! Yes! STOP drinking diet sodas and be alert for Aspartame on food labels! Many products are fortified with it!!! This is a serious problem. Dr. Espart (one of my speakers) remarked that so many people seem to be symptomatic for MS and during his recent visit to a hospice; a nurse stated that six of her friends, who were heavy Diet Coke addicts, had all been diagnosed with MS. This is beyond coincidence! Diet soda is NOT a diet product! It is a chemically altered, multiple SODIUM (salt) and ASPARTAME containing product that actually makes you crave carbohydrates. It is far more likely to make you GAIN weight! These products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and thighs.
Formaldehyde is an absolute toxin and is used primarily to preserve "tissue specimens." Many products we use every day contain this chemical but we SHOULD NOT store it IN our body!!! Dr. H. J. Roberts stated in his lectures that once free of the "diet products" and with no significant increase in exercise; his patients lost an average of 19 pounds over a trial period.

Aspartame is especially dangerous for diabetics. We found that some physicians, who believed that they had a patient with retinopathy, in fact, had symptoms caused by Aspartame. The Aspartame drives the blood sugar out of control. Thus diabetics may suffer acute memory loss due to the fact that aspartic acid and phenylalanine are NEUROTOXIC when taken without the other amino acids necessary for a good balance. Treating diabetes is all about BALANCE. Especially with diabetics, the Aspartame passes the blood/brain barrier and it then deteriorates the neurons of the brain; causing various levels of brain damage, seizures, depression, manic depression, panic attacks, uncontrollable anger and rage. Consumption of Aspartame causes these same symptoms in non-diabetics, as well. Documentation and observation also reveal that thousands of children diagnosed with ADD and AHD have had complete turnarounds in their behavior when these chemicals have been removed from their diet. So called "behavior modification prescription drugs" (Ritalin and others) are no longer needed. Truth be told, they were never NEEDED in the first place!
Most of these children were being "poisoned" on a daily basis with the very foods that were "better for them than sugar." It is also suspected that the Aspartame in thousands of pallets of diet Coke and diet Pepsi consumed by men and women fighting in the Gulf War, may be partially to blame for the well-known Gulf War Syndrome. Dr. Roberts warns that it can cause birth defects, i.e., mental retardation, if taken at the time of conception and during early pregnancy. Children are especially at risk for neurological disorders and should NEVER be given artificial sweeteners. There are many different case histories to relate of children suffering grand mal seizures and other neurological disturbances due to the use of NutraSweet. Unfortunately, it is not always easy to convince people that Aspartame is to blame for their child's illness. Stevia, which, which is a sweet herb, NOT A MANUFACTURED ADDITIVE, helps in the metabolism of sugar, which would be ideal for diabetics. It has now been approved as a dietary supplement by the FDA. It is known that for many years the FDA outlawed this true sweet food," due to their loyalty to MONSANTO Chemical Company." Books on this subject are available: EXCITOTOXINS: THE TASTE THAT KILLS written by Dr. Russell Blayblock (Health Press 1-800-643-2665) AND: DEFENSE AGAINST ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE-written by DR H. J. Roberts, also a diabetic specialist. These two doctors will soon be posting a position paper with case histories on the deadly effects of Aspartame on the Internet. According to the Conference of the American College of Physicians, "We are talking about a plague of neurological diseases directly caused by the use of this deadly poison." Herein lies the problem: There were Congressional Hearings when Aspartame was included 100 different products and strong objection was made concerning it's use. Since this initial hearing, there have been two subsequent hearings and still, nothing has been done. The drug and chemical lobbies have very deep pockets. Sadly, MONSANTO'S patent on Aspartame has EXPIRED!! There are now over 5,000 products on the market that contain this deadly chemical and there will be thousands more introduced. Everybody wants a "piece of the Aspartame pie." I assure you that MONSANTO, the creator of Aspartame, knows how deadly it is. And isn't it ironic that MONSANTO funds, among others, the American Diabetes Association, the American Dietetic Association and the Conference of the American College of Physicians? This has been recently exposed in the New York Times. These cannot criticize any additives or convey their link to MONSANTO because they take money from the food industry and are required to endorse their products. Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill that would require label warnings on products containing Aspartame, especially regarding pregnant women, children and infants. The bill would also institute independent studies on the known dangers and the problems existing in the general population regarding seizures, changes in brain chemistry, neurological changes and behavioral symptoms. The bill was killed. It is known that the powerful drug and chemical lobbies are responsible for this, letting loose the hounds of disease and death on an unsuspecting and uninformed public.
Well, you're informed now!!!! YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!!!! Please print this out and/or e-mail to your family and friends. They have a right to know too.
God bless,
Jessel

Being pregnant is not that easy!

I know it's been 3 days since I haven't post anything here. Weekend is family time and I spent all my time in my husband to our in-laws and yesterday I don't feel like sitting in the computer co'z I really feel sick! I still feel sick right now but I have to post an entry here and tried to forget my sickness. I must say that being pregnant is not that easy. You don't have any appetite to eat anything. You feel dozy/dizzy and wanted to vomit all the time. But I need to eat something for my baby. It would be good for me if I am in Philippines then it wasn't that hard. My main problem is when I cooked something, I don't like the smell of my cooking even if I like to eat it. If only someone will cook for me then I know I will eat. I feel sorry for husband co'z he is the one doing everything, laundry, cooking food, cleaning our mess while me is doing nothing. I don't want him to do that but I don't want to do anything other than laying in bed.I am happy that my hubby is a very good person and he understand me. I hope this feeling well end soon co'z I don't want to feel this longer. But anyway, in spite of all that negative feelings I am still happy knowing that I will be a mom soon. I hope and pray that God will bless my baby and that he/she's healthy.

Happy Weekend

There’s a big fair in town tonight as what my husband said but when I asked him what’s in that fair, he just answered to me” you will know tonight”. I really don’t have any idea what’s going on but hopefully I won’t feel sick when we will go there. I woke up this morning with my mother in-laws voice, she called me and check me if I am okay since I feel sick yesterday, and that’s the reason why I wasn’t able to post and entry here. But anyway now I feel a lot better and I have to so I will know what’s in the big fair in town. Plus I don’t want to disappoint my husband. That’s all for today, and hope everyone will have a very memorable weekend. God bless us all. And advance happy Sabbath to all SDA’s.

My new Painting

Good morning fellas! I just want to share with my new painting. I still have some of it but it’s not done yet, I might have to pay more attention with that this coming winter were I can’t make so much activity outside. I find painting very entertaining. It’s a therapy when you are stress or bored. It’s hard to paint if you are first timer like me but if you are really willing to learn new things, you will find it very challenging and interesting.

Lesson for today:-)

Hi guys, hope you have a very memorable weekend. Well, I have been busy and just got time to sit here and post and entry. Last Sunday me and my husband are busy preparing for Filipino potluck. He helped me doing all the cooking. I cooked chicken Adobo and jasmine rice. We went there 30 minutes early from the meeting time but we keep on looking around for more 2 hours but we didn’t find them. SO we thought that they changed plan and didn’t make it. So what we did we just do our own little picnic in the lake. The view is very nice though, its look like a beach. After we ate, we headed home and dropped in fruits stand to buy some fruits. When we got home I called my friend I leave a message about everything. After 2 hours she called me and felt sorry, co’z we misunderstood the address. She meant Deep BAY PARK not STATE PARK, that’s the reason why we didn’t make it L they keep on waiting for us too and when we didn’t show up after 2 hours they just started eating. She feels really bad that we traveled almost an hour and we are not able to find them.
What they did, they send me a bunch of vegetables and fruits and that’s good thing co’z then we don’t need to buy fruits and vegetables. It’s nice to have some friends here co’z then you have free vegetables and fruits hehehehehehe. My friend set another schedule to invite us for dinner but this time it should be only us. We will have a meeting again this coming December so hopefully we will be able to find them at that time.

Bizarre Foods In Asia

I watched this show last night were a person went to a certain places where he can find a very unusual food in all over the world and it was happen that he’s in Asia and showing all kinds of food stuff. I’ve seen lots of foods that people don’t usually eat. My husband feels upset in his tummy when he saw that person eating a raw heartbeat of a frog with blood all over. I feel surprised too knowing those lots of people in Asian ate very unusual foods like snake, bugs, worms, etc and take note, they ate raw, and they never cook it. They just add some seasonings. They said that it’s good for your health but whatever they aid I don’t think I can try eating at least one of the stuff they eat. I can’t even eat a medium steak, how much more a raw weird stuff! Ewww! I am Asian and I am proud of that but I don’t eat weird and exotic foods.
I am actually waiting for them to show about Philippines since that person visit Philippines too, but they didn’t. It’s maybe because they can hardly find unusual foods in my country hehehehehe. I know there are some people who ate exotic foods in Philippines too but I am pretty sure they cook it first. Well anyway, the show is very interesting co’z they are not only showing Asia’s food but also all over the world. Hope you guys will watch it too.

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!

wanna save?

Now that the cost of mailing a letter---or a bill payment---has a risen to 41 cents, it's time to take a fresh look at money-saving altenatives. Sure, you can stay one step ahead of future postal rate increases by buying a supply of the new " forever" stamps, which are guaranteed to be good for mailing a first-class, no matter how high rates go in the future. But why not save the money you'd spend on stamps and checks, and pay your bills directly from your bank acount? there are two main options.
ONLINE BILL PAYMENT This is similar to wrting and amiling a check each month, except you do it all alone. Many banks offer online bill-paying services at little or no cost. You can set up an account information for all your monthly bills and, when those bills come in the mail each month, simply go online and make the payments. Altenatively, you may be able to go the the website of each company that sends you a bill and make your payment electronically there.
DIRECT PAYMENT You can authorize that funds be autimatically withdrawn from your bank account for regurlar bills such as your mortgage, utilities, car payment and credit cards. There is usually no cost for this service. To get started, you'll need to enroll with the companies that send you monthly bills, authorizing them to debit funds from your account. Either way, the savings can add up. The national Authomated Clearinghouse Association estimates that an avergae household receives 20 bills each month. paying thress-qarters of those electronically--15 bills a month could save $73.80 a yea in postage, not to mention the cost of 180 checks.

being emotional

Today I watched a competition called “America’s Got Talent” hundreds of people or even more are tried for an audition and I must say that everyone has a great talent and some of them just trying to show what they’ve got when in fact they’ve got nothing and that’s a true courageous person, I admired those people. It’s quite funny watching it but on the other hand I feel sad when some of them can’t make it to the final. My weakness watching reality show is that I am too emotional especially when the contestant is crying when he or she was eliminated. There’s no way for me to be a judge at all….I easily carried with my emotion. It’s sad to know that lots of people are trying to be someone but they can’t make it.

Every corner on this earth millions of people got a talent; it could be a singing, dancing, acting, modeling, etc...But whatever you had you and me are both created by God with a very special and unique talent. There’s no reason for us to be hesitate to show what we had and proved that we’ve got something that no one has. It might not good enough for others but as long as you’ve done it with a better purpose and because you love what you are doing then you’ve got to show it! For those people who failed to try something new I must tell you to keep on moving and I am pretty sure that you/me have a fantastic hidden talent!
