We moved into this house about 6 months ago and I can’t lie that I still haven’t even begun to unpack all the boxes. I wish I had more time to do it but between starting my new job and getting the kids all set up at their new school and working on the extra stuff like the www.Cabletvadvisor.com and having the driveway refinished there’s a lot to be done still. I unpacked all of our bedrooms, obviously, so we’d have clothes to wear and all that, but the dining room is still just a mess of boxes and the kids’ playroom still hasn’t really taken shape. I guess I just didn’t realize that a big move like this would be such a massive undertaking but if I had known I think I would have taken a week or so between jobs to get acclimated. Now I only have my precious weekends and nights to work on it and by the time I get home and make dinner I’m totally exhausted!

My schedule nowadays is pretty much occupied. I hardly have time taking care of myself. I have been very busy since the first week of November preparing parties and now I still have two parties that need to be taken care of. The Filipino party is only a week away and I need to get things ready, I was assigned to organize the games, lots of shopping to do and preparation.
However, my goal for this weekend is to buy a new gps for my hubby, it’s the only thing that I can think of as the best present for Jason. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for us because the whole family will be at school to help out the turkey bingo night. Every year the school had this turkey bingo night as a fundraising and my sister in-law and I are always helping and selling cookies to raise more money. My son and I had a lot of fun playing in the snow yesterday. I found a good spot for sledding and we cannot stop ourselves going back in forth up in the hill. My in-laws are currently away for the whole winter and they expect Jason to take care of their place while they are gone. My son and my friend son are having fun trick or treating yesterday. We're supposed to meet our neighbor at 5 in the afternoon but I guess we're late co'z no one was there when we arrived. Christmas is soon to come and to tell you honestly, I am half way ready! I wrapped most of our present and put up the Christmas tree. I know I am too early but I am pretty sure I am not alone. I just want to get ready because I do not want to forget anything on that special occasion. We will be having a thanksgiving here at home with my family and friends and that is why preparing ahead of time is necessary because there are so many things that needed to be done before Christmas.
I still need to buy more gifts especially for my husband and I am thinking to buy him the latest truck gps but I am not sure which truck gps works great because I know how picky he is and I wanted to give the best one. I am already eyeing some and I am crossing my finger that he’ll like it. It’s kind of hard to decide which present to give for my husband because he is very picky!

My husband and I have been saying we would take a trip to Europe for longer than I care to admit. We are not so good with the planning part, as it turns out. Planning a transatlantic trip (to multiple countries, no less) is a daunting task. Every time we sit down to plan the trip, we start out strong. This time will be different, we say. We’ll follow through. We’ll decide on two, maybe three countries, we’ll decide which cities we most want to visit in those countries, and we’ll put together an itinerary. Our plan normally falls apart right about the “deciding on two, maybe three countries” part. We absolutely cannot agree on which countries to see. In fairness, this is partially my fault. I spend more time watching The Travel Channel on expert satellite than is probably healthy. Great Weekends or Passport to Europe with Samantha Brown? Love it. No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain? Yes, please. All that Travel Channel has evidently made it very tough to pick the places I want to visit most. I guess eventually I’ll just cave and let my husband pick the countries himself. In the meantime, I’ll be on the couch watching Samantha Brown eat and drink her way through Turkey. Or some equally awesome country.

I was very surprise when I talked to my cousin yesterday who lives in Connecticut when she told me how she saves money with their electricity bill. She only pays half of our monthly electricity bill. I got a new laptop for my mama the other day, I was lucky enough to find affordable laptops at thesoure.ca. It was my plan to buy her one since my visit there few months ago. I was going to give her my old laptop when I was there but my older sister needs it more than my mother, so this time, it is my mother turn to have one. She is very excited but asking a lot of questions how to use it. It might take a while before she can learn how to use the laptop but I know for sure that she will do just fine. My older sister already letting her using the laptop that I give to her and she said, mama is learning slowly.

Our Vacation

Our Vacation

It's been 3 days now since we stayed at Tenaya Lodge and so far, I am enjoying every seconds being at this place. I love the ambiance, the weather, the food and the people! I am so happy to have an opportunity like these, being able to travel somewhere with my family. There are lots of traveler who stays in this place, they have 297 rooms but fully occupied and I can understand why. Just the place alone is already a huge bonus. Anyway, we will be leaving on Saturday morning and fly back to our hometown so friends, see you in a week!

Jason is still working on rebuilding our shop in preparation for winter. He replace all the wall and put new wiring and I am really hoping that he can get it all done by the end of this month so I can start putting our stuff there. I already was eyeing some wire management online in case he needed more material for his wiring because he mentioned it to me last night that he might need more. I wish we can hire people to help him out with this rebuilding but we are in a tight budget right now. Anyway, there are only few minor things that need to be done in the shop and I think we can get it done before winter.

Calgary Apartments For Rent

Five years from now, the mining company where my husband is currently working will be over and if they cannot find a new area to mine here in our town, their office will be completely shut down and people who worked there do not have any choice but to find a job somewhere else. Right now, we are considering moving somewhere in Calgary since it is the only area closer to our place here and a place where my husband can continue working in the company. They open a new site in Calgary and my husband has a choice whether to work there or not. According to his manager, they would love to hire him in the new site and willing to pay for our moving expenses if we decide to move there. My husband already checking these Calgary apartments for rent and his thinking to maybe rent one of their apartment and then keep our place here, it is only 2 hours drive from where we lived so our plan is that, my husband will stay in the apartment and if my son and I decides to stay there, we can drive over and drive back every two weeks or so. This is going to be hard not seeing everyday but we don’t have any choice right now. This is just a plan because we do not know yet, maybe they’ll find a new mining site here and that is what I am hoping for, I am crossing my finger!

It's officially fall here in our place! The leaves is falling off, tress changes colors and temperature is dropping! It rains outside right now that makes you want to lay in bed all day long! I love the sound of the raindrops, I don't know why but raindrops sound helps me fall asleep quicker. This is the first rain since summer and I am happy because the ground needs it. Pretty soon the ground will turn white and I am excited because my son is looking forward to build snow man again.

My mom and I had always talked about going into business together but I guess I really didn’t think she was all that serious about it until recently. She kept saying how she wanted to open a bakery or something and since she’s a really good baker I just took it with a grain of salt but then she called me 6 months ago and told me she’d bought one. A bakery! Anyway, now we’re running this place together and it’s been a labor of love, to say the least. It’s a hassle and a half trying to run your own business and I’ve been put in charge of a lot of the logistic stuff like going to GET.wildblue.com to get us internet and calling the security guy to come out and fix the alarm. Business is slowly growing, though, so I’m happy with our decision and hope our little bakery that could will just keep on going and going. I love being my own boss and I know my mom feels the same way!

I felt badly for my friend who lost her husband few weeks ago. She ended up paying a huge debt because of her husband being so sick before he died and none of it was covered by any medical insurance since they do not have one. How do you feel staying in a place with a home security fulton dale installed? I am sure you will feel safe and at ease all the time. That is how I feel when I went to California visiting my cousin. I was skeptical to visit them first because of my family’s safety. The city where they lived is high in crime and that is why it took us forever to decide whether to visit them or not. Our decision becomes easy after she told about the home security system that she installed not a long time ago.
We had a blast spending two weeks at their place, we watch many movies and show every night, one of the shows that we enjoyed watching is The Voice but so sad that the show is already over. I hope that they are going to have another episode because we all love it. I am very thankful to my cousin because just because of our visit they installed Direct TV. They are planning to visit our place in a few months and we are very excited because they haven’t been to a place where they can go fishing and we all have it here in our place.

I am satisfied with my height since I was born but it all changes after I got married, why? Because when I moved in, in my husband's place, I cannot reach our cabinet unless I used 2 step stools. It frustrates me when I want to get something and I cannot do it because of my height. I wish my husband’s house is not that high and that I can reach things without using something. My sister in-law was asking about going back to school and take mba management courses. The school that she has been working is soon to be close and she needs to find a job after that. Several jobs are available in our town but needs to have a management degree. She is not sure yet whether to take management courses or not but she does not have any choice since it’s the only best options for her plus she already took minor classes anyway. I hope she can finish the course soon because she badly need it for her future.
She's actually thinking of taking the class online and plan to start early next month. The one that she found online is the same school that my husband went to before which is a good thing because then someone can assist him in case she needs help.

I don't live in the best palce to go scuba diving, so I'm planning my summer vacation around learning how to scuba dive and getting my certification. My grandfather is very happy and satisfied with his arturo fuente cigars. I got him a box two months ago as my presents. I am very happy that he likes it because I work hard to get those cigars. It’s funny how he hides the cigars in his closet. He does not want to share it to anybody and that is why he is making sure that nobody can touch it! According from him, this is mine and was given by my granddaughter, so hands off! It felt good to be able to see a person who is very happy with your presents. I am actually planning to buy him another box when I get back to the US because I have seen how much he loves the cigars but I do not want to tell him yet about my plan because I wanted to surprise him.

I am very happy and excited to see my family once again, it's been so long since I met them and I misses them so much. I am very excited to be able to buy all the foods that I have been craving since four years ago. I am eating like a pig right now and I do not care if I gain weight. Few months from now, my family and I are going to visit my family which is 18 hours flight or more. And since we can only visit them once and a while, we are planning to have a family reunion for the very first time. Jason and I are talking about having our own home theater. We both love to watch movies on weekend and been thinking to buy the 54 inches flat screen TV. I told him to just build a home theater instead of buying a big TV since we already have the optoma projector that was given from my in-laws last year. Plus we have an extra huge bedroom that never been use before. The only thing we need to buy is to remodel the floor like a stair case for a perfect view and buy theater couches. My friends and I are planning to go for a weekend road trip to Seattle, which is 5 to 6 hours away from where we lived. My friend Jenalyn is currently looking for a van where 6 to 8 people can ride. There are at least eight people are coming with us and none of us has a vehicle where eight people can fit. Therefore, instead of going there with two or three cars, we are going to rent a van and ride in one vehicle and then divide the rent as well as the hotel room. My son, turned three last Tuesday but his party was last Saturday. It has been a months now since I am suffering acne problem in my left face. My skin is breaking out badly after my tympanoplasty surgery. I have no idea why but according to my husband, it’s a reaction from the medication that they used during the surgery or maybe my hormones is changing.

I got so upset while shopping in town this morning. My cart was full of groceries hoping to get back home faster and yet the line is taking forever to get it done. The barcode scanner in the isle where I was lining up was broken and they have to do it manually. I am so disappointed because my schedule was already behind and there are so many things that need to be done before the birthday party for my son.
I wish all store had an extra barcode scanner just in case unexpected moment will happen like this morning. The flow of the line is very slow and everything is really a mess. I wish there is something I can do to make it faster but the entire isle was busy. Oh well, I am happy that I got what I need for the party and hopefully the store can fix their barcode scanner soon.

One of our friend has been asking us for three years now to visit their ranch to ride their horses and I am thrilled that we can finally go there this weekend. I am a little nervous though because it has been a very long time since I rode a horse and I am not sure if I still know how especially that the horse here is much bigger than what I used to ride. My husband recently got hurt, he torn his bicep and he is now in recuperation and is going to physical therapy to re-strengthen his arms, this is a wonderful opportunity for him to get back on shape and build some muscles. Finally, I got the cell booster today! The signal here in our place is very weak especially on winter. I have been waiting the phone company to put a satellite here in our subdivision but seems like I am waiting in vain. Last Sunday evening my husband twisted his left arm saving our little boy from falling off the chair. I felt bad because when he asked me to check his arm, I did not pay too much attention and I thought, everything is fine but after few minutes, his arm started to swelled up and he cannot move. We are few hours away from the hospital and there is no way of taking him to the emergency room because he cannot drive with his arm hurting and I don’t know how to drive either. Luckily we’re able to contact the travel emergency and took my husband to the emergency room. It was in the middle of the night but the ER is busy, people went to the same place because of their flu, good thing my son is not with us, otherwise, there’s a possibility of getting him sick as well.
My husband is scheduled for MRI tomorrow and I am praying that nothing is too serious and he does not need to undergo surgery. Because of what had happen to my husband, I realized how fragile our body is, and that, it needs to be taken care of. Though my husband hurt his arm accidentally, I am also very proud of him at the same time, risking his arm for the sake of his son.

I told Jason to replace our guest bathroom sink and buy the Delta faucets. I wanted to have a presentable bathroom for our guest. Last week, he replaces our toilet and I am very happy with it because the one he got is a push button, it’s huge yet it saved us some water. I also want to change the paint but Jason said, I have to wait for my mother in-law so we can do it together and pick the color together. She is good when it comes to house decoration. My goal for this year is to redecorate the bathroom and then when my son is old enough to handle fragile things, I am going to put back all our decoration that has been hid in the shop. My husband took all our decoration just before my son was born and I am hoping to bring them back maybe this summer.

I cannot believe when I found the box in our bedside table wrapped in a white ribbon. I thought it’s a wrist watch or something. The earrings are just so stunning and sophisticated; this is my first time receiving a diamond earrings. I wanted an earring like this for quite sometime now but I did not bug my husband because I know how expensive they are. However, this morning, my wish came true! I miss my family so much, I never seen them in person for almost four years now and I really wanted to meet them all especially my nieces and nephew, I wonder how big they are now! New Laptop For Me!

After few months of patience, I can finally disregard the old laptop of mine. This is a four-year-old laptop and I seriously need to upgrade this one for my work online. I don’t mind using old laptop as long as it works perfectly but the one that I am using right now, is always shutting down for no reason. Jason was already checking some custom laptops online and he promised to buy one tomorrow. He said, it is my early present for our wedding anniversary. I am very excited right now because I never thought he would buy one for me since we are in a tight budget. He must have loved me that much!
Anyway, I need to get going now and finish my errands before hubby gets home and oh yeah, if you can give me any suggestion on what laptop is best to buy today, I would really appreciate it, thank you!

Since my son loves to play games in my computer, I am thinking of buying him a set of educational PC Games on his 3rd birthday. He is very smart at his age being able to know how to play games by himself. I got him a Go Diego Rescue game last month and started to feel bored already. He is still playing it everyday but asking to buy more games for him and that is exactly what I am planning to do on his birthday, I don’t mind buying stuff that will widen his knowledge, I’d rather have him those kind of things than buying unnecessary toys. He got too much toys already and run out of space.

Grocery shopping may seem like an everyday task to get kids ready for school, but by grocery shopping in this article, I mean shopping at wholesale stores for food. To get kids ready for school, I am always sure to shop at wholesale stores for my kids. I make sure to buy in bulk, because it saves my family thousands of dollars a year.

I love buying in bulk for my kids. Often, I even take them to the wholesale food store, so they can pick out what they want to eat for the second half of the school year. They often have plenty of fun picking out different fruit snacks or juices they will drink in the upcoming year. For kids, going to the wholesale food store is even an adventure. I have been so busy for the past few days catching up all the things that needs to be done before our trip to my beloved country. Jason and I are planning to go hunting this weekend. I am anxious and excited for this is my first time hunting on winter. I am not sure if I am going to like it since the temperature is freezing. He bought two uncle mikes holsters gun for our safety as well as binoculars. The place that we are going to hunt is full of wild animals and it is very important to carry something that will protect us in case something goes wrong. I am excited for this adventure but I do not like to kill animals, so I am not sure if I can shot anything especially the deer. I might just stay in a corner and watch the guys hunting. I know this is going to be fun!

My son likes to play his tiny racing car that we got for him last Christmas. He plays most of the time with his cars, He had more than 20 cars in his room and he plays them all. I got him a remore helicopter last Christmas but still in the box, we have to wait till he gets old enough to play the toy. I am very excited for this weekend plans. My friend and I are going to ski with our kids. I already prepared all the stuff that we need but we have to go the store first before heading to the ski area to buy some gloves for me and for my son. We have gloves but it was not thik enough. Few More Pounds To Go!

I lost 5 pounds already after taking dietpills for two weeks; I am very happy and excited to be able to get back on shape again. I just need few more pounds to lose to reach my goal. It’s never been easy for me to undergo this diet regimen again but it’s all worth it. It feels good to see the results of your hard work. Mytwo and half year old boy is trying his best to count from 1 to 30 with a little supervision from his daddy. Jason changed the calendar and he decided to count read the numbers. There are few numbers that he has a hard time pronouncing but he managed to finish reading all the numbers. I am proud of him to be able to identify the numbers at early age, I am not a type of a parent who forces children to learn,my son learn everything mostly from watching education videos and tv shows.

I love my new htc desire android Smartphone. I can do almost everything whenever I am away from home. I can watched videos in YouTube without any problem at all, sometimes, I preferred to use my phone watching videos than my laptop because it simply faster.
